Pond Planters Bring Bugs
On Wednesday 12th June the children involved in the Schools in Residence Project created floating planters for the school pond.
After their visits to Ferry Meadows, the children have brought the skills they have learnt back to school. Supported by the team from Nene Park, the children checked the pond's acidity and created some floating planters to build bug life around the pond.
Using a range of tools and techniques, the children built the planters in about an hour, each selecting their own plants.
Proud of their achievements, now we can watch to see how they grow and blossom; two yellow, one red and one blue.
