OWN Trust Raises Huge Sum!

This year, the schools worked together as a team to raise money for UNICEF, a charity which works to improve the health, nutrition, education, and well-being of children everywhere. They might do things such as:

• Support health care, such as vaccinations.
• Help children and families get access to clean water.
• Deliver emergency food supplies.
• Build schools in poor areas.
• Give aid to areas devastated by wars or natural disasters.

OWN Trust invited every member of their school communities to wear non-uniform and something blue to represent UNICEF. The children then had the opportunity to walk around the school field carrying a cup of water to highlight what children in other parts of the world experience to get drinking water.

We are so proud to tell you that- at time of going to press (09/07/24) the OWN Trust has raised £998!
