Firefighters Visit Year 2!
There was much excitement on the playground when the fire engine drove through the gates!
We’re excited to share that Year 2 children have had a fantastic finish to the Autumn 1 term! This term, our students have been diving into the fascinating topic of the Great Fire of London. They’ve been learning about the historical significance of this event and its impact on the city.
As part of our learning experience, we had a special visit from our local firefighters, who brought along a fire engine! The children enjoyed exploring the engine and learning about fire safety. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that tied in perfectly with our History topic.
What a wonderful way to finish half term!
