Election Time at Woodston
It’s a very exciting time at Woodston as children are busy voting for their new House Captains. In an assembly on Wednesday 11th October, a group of enthusiastic Year 6 children from the four houses (Fitzwilliam, Cromwell, Hereward and Cavell) shared their visions for why they should become the new House Captains and why they should be chosen to undertake this big responsibility. Pupils and staff alike were very impressed by their passionate, articulate speeches and there was a huge buzz around the hall as children started to consider who they were going to vote for. An enormous well done to all the nominees for their efforts and courage in putting themselves forward. We are now all waiting on the edge of our seats for the final outcome.
