Attendance Award
A team effort from pupils, parents and staff is celebrated and recognised!
We are delighted to share the news that we were in the top 25% of similar schools nationally for attendance in the Autumn Term, according to data from FFT.
At Woodston we take our children's education very seriously, and we show our commitment to this by ensuring our children have good attendance and make the most of every day at school. During the Autumn Term 2023 our whole school attendance was a fabulous 95.1% and we are feeling very proud.
Good attendance is a team effort. It involves pupils, parents and staff working together to make this a priority. We know that every day counts in school, and this achievement is a celebration of that. Recently we have shown our commitment to good attendance by changing the time of gates being locked at the start of the day. This will help children get to their classes before the register and avoid uneccessary late marks.
Of course at 95.1% there is still room for improvement and we will not stop here!
Come on team Woodston this is 'good' but it is not 'outstanding' and we know we are outstanding so let's get to 97% by the end of the year. If anyone can we can! There is so much worth being in school for, and we love to see all our children and families everyday!
Well done everyone!
